The Giant Turtle

This poem is for those who are always perturbed by what people say or think about them; those who are insecure, even, in their own skin. Read and read again until the giant turtle wakes in you.

The giant turtle,

the giant turtle won't be startled or ruffled.

He turtles on in startling blissdom--

oblivion to the worries of the world.

Boredom is the last thing he feels.

For he has found himself a pill

of self-worth and self-love.

He allows the waters of

consciousness to peel away

his anxiousness.

The giant turtle

won't be startled.

Nothing can make it jostle!

Yes!
